Finally I have a few minutes left over to update with an article and sum up the last two months. It has been crazy with church, studies, exams, New York and Christmas, but here is a quick update for those interested..

First of all, it has been great joining the
youthwork in church. We love to spend our Saturdays with the youth and our hearts are so satisfied. At the same time, it has been challenging to study full time. It has been a demanding semester in school with a huge studyload, a lot of hand-ins and assignments. But God has made it able! I quit my job to make sure I had the time and energy for both church and school, which I believe that was the right solution :)
Next to youthwork, I have actually joined the
worship again! :) Aah, it feels so good after almost 2 years off because of a tired voice. So we are now a great team of different people leading the worship in church every 6th Sunday. It would be nice to do it more often, but I can´t take on too much next to the youthwork.
The
school semester has as mention been demanding, but the results were amazingly good! I really did do my best and knew my grades would be quite good, but I never imagined
A´s in all of my three courses...nope.. :) I thank God for his wisdom and help to combine eveything in dailylife and make the most out of everything. This coming spring, I will have some time off from school and wont be back in Halden until August next year!
But the fall has also brought other exciting things than good grades. We were able to go to
New York this month, just before Christmas! It was a birthday gift for Jostein from the family and closets friends when turning 30. And it was amaaaazing to finally experience this huge, hectic, famous and attractive city! We had four full days and saw so much of New York, shopped, ate, went to church and just loved spending time together. I am glad Jostein could end this year with a blast after a summer and fall consisting of renovation of the house..
At the moment, we are preparing for
the new year. I am not sure what I am thinking or feeling about it, but it will be an interesting year, I am sure.. I will have to find a job fror the next 8 months, we will go to Estonia with our cell and we look forward to our annual trip to Oppdal with the youth! :) I just thank God that He is in control and knows where to have us and what to use us for. At the same time I pray that I am able to trust Him completely and allow Him to correct and mold me. I feel as if I need some molding this coming year.. Some stretching and squeezing. So God, go for it! ;)
To all our readers, be so very much blessed and have a great start of the new year we are entering into! :) We will try to update our site more frequently than we have done this fall..
