Swine, school & snow..
The last few days have been booooring! Ah, I am so fed up with staying at home, on the sofa, watching TV or just looking at my Mac and cough every second minute. I miss school and seeing people. I also missed out on the first snow which apparently was seen today. I look forward to grab my guitar and sing again. I miss my voice..

But in these swiny times and with all the sick people around, I should not complain. Others are more seriously ill than I and some have even died. So, even though these last 7 days have been baaad, with fever and the whole package, I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel and, hopefully, I will be back at school on Wednesday for Marketing.
I also hate missing out on lectures. I know too well that for me to succeed and reach the goals I have set, I must take part of the lectures and follow the teaching. Or I get lazy. And it feels as if my well organised student life just becomes messed up and I feel out of control. So - I need to get back that control. Tomorrow, I try my best to catch up on my reading about websites (since we soon have to hand in an analysis of one) and marketing. Next to that, I have to stop coughing before Wednesday so that Elise, my exampartner, and I can spend some effective hours working on our exam paper. Yes, that is the plan!
Now, the snow I am not so eager about. I am and will aways be a summer girl and my heart belongs to the beach. I love tanning, chilling in the sun, travelling south and experience new exotic places. Still, the winter always arrives it seems, every year.. From what I have heard and read on Facebook, some snow appeared allready today. So I have to start changing my thinking, start looking forward to the slopes and amazing skiing trips. You see, I am able to enjoy the winter, even though summer cannot come soon enough... :) Jostein got me a new set of skiis and boots for Christmas last time, so the equipment is updated and cool! He loves the snow and becomes like a little child when just thinking of it.. Guess I need to let him influence me a bit while I get used to putting on more layers of clothes :)

It has also been Halloween of course, and these guys came knocking on our door -->
Otherwhise, I am really looking forward to the weekend and then especially the Saturday! LIFE is on at 20.00 and we haven´t gathered the whole flock for some time now. It feels especially longed for when you have been sick for a week and just been sitting there.. Aaaah, I look forward to church and worship!!!
Some words of knowledge for this week, which we read in our daily devotional today at dinner:
"The desert is just as
essential as the mountain top. On the mountain top, we are overwhelmed
by His presence, while in the desert, we are overwhelmed by his
absence. Both places should bring us to our knees; the one in total
reverence, the other in total dependence..."
Many blessings! I hope you all stay free of the swines :)
